A Video Editor (Ad-Creatives) is responsible for producing visually compelling and conversion-focused video advertisements for digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The ideal candidate understands performance marketing, knows how to hook viewers in the first few seconds, and has a strong grasp of pacing, storytelling, and motion design. This role demands creativity, speed, and attention to detail, along with a strong sense of visual trends and audience engagement strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Editing eye-catching video ads, reels, and short-form content optimized for social media and digital marketing.
  • Crafting powerful intros, smooth transitions, and clear CTAs (calls-to-action).
  • Repurposing long-form content into high-performing ad creatives.
  • Working with design and marketing teams to align creatives with brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Selecting and syncing appropriate background music, SFX, and voiceovers.
  • Applying motion graphics, text overlays, and visual effects where needed.
  • Iterating versions of creatives based on A/B testing data and performance analytics.
  • Exporting and optimizing animations for different platforms and resolutions.
  • Staying up-to-date with video trends, formats, and platform algorithms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of ad formats for platforms like Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to edit quickly while maintaining high quality and storytelling clarity.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and visual pacing.
  • Familiarity with performance marketing concepts like CTR, engagement, and hook rate is a plus.
  • A solid portfolio of short-form, high-converting ad creatives.
  • Creative mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
